Cookie Policy

Short version: ivoryopal.com uses no advertising or tracking cookies. We don't run analytics trackers, ad pixels, or social media beacons. The only things that run in your browser exist to make the site and payments work.

1. What we use and why

• Payment security (Square). The booking page loads Square's Web Payments form to accept your card securely. Square may set cookies and use similar technologies strictly to process the payment and prevent fraud. These are essential to completing your booking — they are not used to advertise to you. • Session storage for staff. Our admin dashboard (used only by Ivory Opal staff) keeps its access key in the browser's session storage until the tab is closed. This never applies to customers.
• Hosting & security (Cloudflare). Our host may set strictly-necessary cookies to protect the site from abuse (for example, bot mitigation). These contain no personal profile data.
• Fonts. We load our typeface from Google Fonts, which serves the font files without setting cookies.

2. What we don't use

• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No cross-site tracking or social media pixels.
• No sale or sharing of browsing data — ever.

3. Your choices

Because everything we use is strictly necessary, there's no consent banner to click through — there's nothing optional to consent to. You can block cookies entirely in your browser settings; the informational pages will work fine, though the secure payment form on the booking page may not load without Square's essential cookies.

4. Changes

If we ever add analytics or any non-essential cookies, we will update this policy first and add an appropriate consent mechanism before anything is set.
